Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Hadley Chimney Fort Worth
Hadley Chimney Fort Worth has been sweeping and repairing chimneys across Tarrant County since 2003, and the crew we send to your door is the whole reason that two-decade track record holds up. We’re not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people below are the ones who climb ladders, run camera scopes, and hand you a written price before any work starts. They’re background-checked, uniformed, and local enough to know that a Fort Worth chimney sees very different weather than one in Dallas. What unites them is simple: they document everything, they explain things in plain English, and they don’t leave a job until you can see the proof.

Our People
Cory Mitchell, Owner
Cory founded Hadley Chimney in 2003 after spending years watching chimney contractors walk away from jobs that were never actually finished right. He built the company around a single frustration: homeowners shouldn’t have to take anyone’s word for it that their chimney is clean or their liner is sound. That’s why every Hadley job comes with before-and-after photos and a written guarantee on every repair. Cory still reviews the photo reports from high-risk jobs personally because, as he puts it, “a camera doesn’t flatter anybody, and that’s exactly the point.” When he’s not in the field, he’s on the phone with homeowners who want an honest answer about whether they need a repair this year or can wait one more season.
Marcus T., Lead Chimney Technician
Marcus has been with Hadley for nine years, which means he’s swept more Fort Worth chimneys than most companies will see in a lifetime. He’s our go-to guy for HeatShield ceramic repair work and full DuraFlex liner installations, the two biggest jobs we do. Marcus is the technician who can look at a firebox and tell you, within a minute, whether the cracking is cosmetic or structural, and he’ll show you the camera footage to back it up. He grew up in the Meadowbrook area and still gets a kick out of working on houses he rode his bike past as a kid. His rule on every job: if a homeowner doesn’t understand what he found, he hasn’t finished explaining it.
Danny R., Senior Installer
Danny handles the heavy repair work: flue relining, crown rebuilds, and masonry repair around the firebox. He’s certified on DuraFlex and Copperfield systems and has been installing them since before half our truck fleet was new. Danny’s the one who’ll walk a customer through why a stainless liner costs what it does and why the cheap quote they got from a guy on Facebook isn’t worth the risk. He keeps a small notebook in his truck with sketches of unusual flue configurations he’s encountered over the years, which has saved more than a few custom jobs from turning into guesswork. When he’s not on a roof, he’s rebuilding old motorcycles in his garage near Benbrook.
Elena S., Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone when you call Hadley at (682) 900-6393, day or night. She’s been with the team for six years and knows the Fort Worth service area street by street, which means she can tell you honestly whether we can get to your neighborhood this week or whether we’re booked out in your part of town. Elena’s job is to make sure every customer gets a written price before the tech arrives and a digital invoice after the job is done. She’s the person who took the 3 a.m. call from a homeowner whose chimney was smoking out the living room and had Danny there the next morning. She doesn’t read from a script, and she’ll never put you on hold longer than it takes to answer.
Tommy J., Apprentice Technician
Tommy is a year into his apprenticeship with Hadley, working under Marcus on sweeps and basic repairs while he earns his hours toward full certification. He’s the one running the vacuum, setting up drop cloths, and logging photo documentation on every visit. Tommy came to us from a roofing crew, so he’s comfortable on steep Fort Worth roof pitches that make other new hires sweat. He’s also the youngest guy on the team and the first to admit that Marcus still makes him re-roll a dirty tarp until it’s folded right. What he lacks in years he makes up for in diligence; he’s the one who notices the small stuff, like a rusted damper plate the customer didn’t mention.
One Standard, Every Job
The Hadley team operates under what we call The Relay Standard, which is the Relay Home Co. family’s baseline for how a home service visit should go. It’s not a slogan. It’s a checklist. Every technician arrives in a tracked window with a live arrival time, wears a uniform and a name badge, and walks the job with the customer before touching anything. Every job gets before-and-after photo documentation, a written price that doesn’t change at the door, and a digital invoice. Every repair includes a written guarantee valid for 365 days, and if a repair fails within that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s the same standard whether we’re sweeping a wood-burning fireplace in Wedgwood or relining a gas flue in Fairmount. Cory, Marcus, Danny, Elena, and Tommy all answer to it, because in Fort Worth, your chimney is either done right or it’s done again.
